Wednesday: Active Rest/Make Up WOD

Thursday: 0600-0700 and 1600-1700

Friday: 1600-1700

Drill Weekends: (Usually the first weekend of the month) After I get out of Drill. 1630 – ? Sat and Sun

In order for you to participate in CrossFit Camp Keyes you MUST first comprehend the fundamentals. There are no exeptions. Contact Chris B at (207) 561-0975 or chris@crossfitcampkeyes.com  to get these fundamentals taught to you. Once the fundamentals are taught, and you know what it feels like to move properly, we will then start you with scaled versions of the workouts until we determine what level you should be at. From there we will work to make you competent in each of the 10 Components of Fitness as defined by Jim Crawley and Bruce Evans of Dynamax:

-Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance:  The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.

-Stamina: The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy.

-Strength: The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.

-Flexibility: the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint

-Power: The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.

-Speed: The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.

-Coordination: The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.

-Agility: The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.

-Balance: The ability to control the placement of the bodies center of gravity in relation to its support base.

-Accuracy: The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.
